Gab’s Response To The ADL

Gab’s Response To The ADL

I received this email from a reporter at Newsweek today about an upcoming hit piece based on a “report” about to be published by the ADL. You can find our response to this reporter and the ADL below.

I am currently working on an embargoes report for the ADL entitled: “For Twitter Users, Gab’s Toxic Content is Just a Click Away”
The report criticises Twitter for the way it allows misinformation relating to COVID-19 the vaccines, as well as antisemtic content and QAnon conpairves from Japan, being widely shared on the site via links to Gab.
From the report:
To examine how fringe content and misinformation continues to spread on Twitter, ADL’s Center on  Extremism (COE) analyzed how Twitter is used to disseminate content from Gab, the fringe social media  platform founded by Andrew Torba. Gab has a long history as a haven for extremists, conspiracy  theorists and misinformation, with Torba himself actively promoting misinformation about COVID-19  vaccines and the Capitol insurrection
Sixteen of the top 50 links to Gab content shared on Twitter during this time period promoted  misinformation and conspiracy theories about Covid-19. An article written by Gab CEO Andrew Torba  was the second most shared link in this time period and was shared nearly 1900 times, reaching nearly  seven million potential Twitter views.
Gab’s official Twitter account also shared  an article written by Torba dismissing claims that he is spreading COVID-19 and vaccine misinformation,  and accusing various organizations of collaborating with Facebook to attack Torba and Gab.
Other content from Gab’s Twitter account includes a link to a Gab comment section where users  promoted COVID-19 and vaccine misinformation, as well as an article from Torba claiming that  Christians are being persecuted by the government and big businesses because of vaccine mandates and  online censorship. Combined, these links were shared nearly 300 times, potentially reaching an  estimated 1.6+ million Twitter views
With this in mind, I was wondering if you would be willing to comment on the criticism you have received in the report for frequently sharing misinformation which then gets posted onTwitter?
My request is for an article which will be published when the embargo lifts on Tuesday, Oct. 12 at 7 am ET.

Our response:

The ADL is an anti-Christ, Anti-American, and Anti-White hate organization. They should be registered as a foreign agent under Foreign Agents Registration Act for their operation in the United States on behalf of foreign interests in Israel.

The ADL can try and pressure Twitter to censor us all they want, but they will never stop the signal of the 20 million people and growing who are using Gab’s services each and every month. Gab will never bend the knee to hateful extremist organizations like the ADL.

In the United States of America people have a right to speak freely, to religious liberty, and to bodily autonomy. Reminding people of their rights is not “misinformation.” If the ADL doesn’t like this perhaps they should move to Israel, which is one of the most vaccinated countries on earth and also a noted covid hot spot right now

The January 6th Capitol Riot hoax has been widely debunked including by the FBI who “found “scant evidence that the Jan. 6 event at the U.S. Capitol was the result of an organized plot to overturn the presidential election result, according to four current and former law enforcement officials.”

Jesus Christ is King and the ADL can go pound sand.
